McTimoney College of Chiropractic 
The McTimoney College of Chiropractic, established in 1972, is internationally recognised as one of the oldest dedicated providers of chiropractic education in Europe. It offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes delivered from its custom-designed premises to ensure individuals are equipped with the skills and knowledge to embark on and to progress to a fulfilling career in chiropractic.
 

The purpose of the McTimoney College of Chiropractic is to educate and train students to be competent in the philosophy, science and art of chiropractic, in order to benefit patients. Through a blended learning approach delivered by academic experts, many of them practitioners, students are taught the skills to become safe and competent Chiropractors.
 

In their final year students will work as an intern within the College’s dedicated Chiropractic training clinic to further develop the skills and attributes required of a competent and effective chiropractor.  As part of their early studies, students will be able to observe chiropractic practice within state of the art clinic facilities.

Master of Chiropractic
The Master of Chiropractic (MChiro), awarded by Ulster University, is delivered by the McTimoney College of Chiropractic, which is part of the College of Health. Students will learn the art, science and philosophy of chiropractic, preparing them for the chiropractic profession with a college degree. Chiropractors need to perform well in a clinical environment and we are able to combine the academic excellence of a university with the real-life focus of a professional environment. The Master of Chiropractic brings together academic, practical and clinical components to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge to become a practising chiropractor.

Entry Requirements
HKDSE:
Minimum of Level 4 in 3 subjects
(To include 2 science subjects:
Biology plus any other science including Chemistry,
Psychology, Physical Education,
Mathematics or Physics), or equivalent
Or
Diploma in relevant sciece subjects from
recognized post-secondary institution
Diploma of Human Health Science,
Diploma of Science,
Diploma of Medicine or Diploma of Nursing,
or equivalent
And
English La
nguage Requirement
IELTS 6.0 (minimum of 5.5 in each band)
Or
HKDSE English Language Level 3, or equivalent

- The Master of Chiropractic programme offered by the McTimoney College of Chiropractic, awarded by the Ulster University is registered (Registration no. 253263) in Non-local Courses Registry (NCR) of Education Bureau (EDB) of Hong Kong and the qualification achieved is equivalent or comparable to the home institution in UK.
 

- The completion of this programme and attainment of the relevant qualification does not guarantee eligibility for registration as a chiropractor in Hong Kong. A chiropractic degree is not the only condition for registration as a chiropractor. Other conditions such as no criminal record and physical health condition are also required. - If applicants or students plan to register as chiropractors and practise both in the UK and HK in the future, they must finish the course at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic main campus located in Abingdon, just outside Oxford, UK including the relevant internship, before they are eligible to apply for registration as a local chiropractor in UK. Similarly, a chiropractic degree is only one of the registration requirements. - We already have students graduated from the home institution in the UK who have successfully applied to be a registered chiropractor in both the UK and HK. As this is a new route for studying in Hong Kong, we are now in communication with the HKCC about the specific registration matters for the Hong Kong in-country route.
